Cheese, Wine and Sausage Fair returns to Jardim Manuel Bivar

Between the 27st and 31th of March

The 9th edition of the Cheese, Wine and Sausage Fair will take place in Jardim Manuel Bivar, in Baixa de Faro, next to the Dock, between the 27th and 31st of March.

The event, organized by the Union of Parishes of Faro, is populated by producers from almost the entire country, highlighting the famous cheeses from Serra da Estrela, Serra da Gardunha, Serpa, Borba and Aldeias de Montoito.

Furthermore, it will be possible to have access to a wide range of wines from regions such as the Algarve, Alentejo, Bairrada, Beira Interior, Dão and Douro.

During these five days it will also be possible to taste various sausages originating in Baixo Alentejo, Serra da Estrela and Gardunha.

The tavern area, as in previous years, will be open to the public at lunchtime, with its operation lasting until 23pm.

In total, the fair has 30 stands that will «promote and publicize the best that is done in the wine, sausages and cheese sector in different regions of Portugal and also in Spain», says the Union of Parishes of Faro in note.

With hours between 12pm and 00pm, this initiative is free for the public to enter.
