The PSP detected five infractions and issued as many fines during an inspection of vehicles and drivers of TVDE – Individual transport of passengers in an unmarked vehicle, on April 23rd, next to Gago Coutinho Airport, in Faro.
This police force reveals that it has been insisting on operations of this nature, aimed at this type of transport service, having, «during the year 2023 and only with regard directly to Gago Coutinho Airport», detected 60 infractions.
Taking this into account, operations specifically dedicated to TVDE will be «especially intensified throughout the upcoming summer period, near the Airport» and in the cities of the Algarve.
«We recommend that all drivers engaged in this activity of individual passenger transport in unmarked vehicles, fully respect the applicable legal regulations, both when carrying out their activity near the airport and in other locations in the Algarve», concluded the PSP.
