The University of Algarve (UAlg) will make 504 vacancies available for special competitions for the next academic year (2023/2024).
Applications are made online and run mostly from the 12th of July to the 16th of August.
In addition to the National Entrance Competition, the Special Competitions are one of the ways to enter the undergraduate and integrated master's courses at the University of Algarve. They are aimed at candidates with specific qualifications, who wish to continue or update their higher education.
Holders of a Technological Specialization Diploma, obtained after completing a Technological Specialization Course (CET), holders of secondary-level dual certification courses and specialized artistic courses, holders of a Diploma Higher Professional Technical Degree, obtained after completing a Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP), candidates who pass the Higher Education Capacity Assessment tests (over 23 years old) and holders of other higher education courses.
The UAlg also offers vacancies for application through the Change of Institution/Course Pair regime in a Bachelor's or Integrated Master's course at the University of Algarve.
