Boat trips, canoeing lessons, boat tours Tuk tuk or a cataplana lesson. The “1st Nautical Week of Faro” takes place from the 12th to the 14th of May.
Thus, citizens and national and foreign visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the existing offer, through various experiences at reduced prices, or even free, ranging from boat trips, to canoeing, surfing or stand-up paddleboarding, going through gastronomic experiences, kitesurfing baptisms, Tuk tuk or tours of speedboat.
According to the Chamber of Faro, «this project is an added value for the municipality and the region, allowing the combination of the dissemination of products and the offer of actions, such as this one, which now has its first edition».
The Nautical Station of Faro is a cooperation platform between more than 50 partners, public and private, which ensure the offer of a tourist product, with a view to better use by the resident community, visitors and tourists.
