A 20-year-old young man, who was riding a bicycle, was fatally hit by a car in the early hours of Thursday, March 9, on National Road 270, in Boliqueime, told the Sul Informação source from the Regional Command of Emergency and Civil Protection.

O accident occurred around 3:00 a.m..

According to Correio da Manhã, the 46-year-old driver fled, but has already been arrested.

Estrada Nacional 270 was closed to traffic, but has since reopened.
