The Albufeira Municipality's “Summer Vacation Project” is back this year so that working parents can have somewhere to leave their children.
The programme, which features playful, creative, sports and artistic activities, promoting socialization, takes place at EB de Caliços, from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 18:00 pm, and is aimed at children in the 1st cycle of basic education who study or reside in the municipality of Albufeira.
The action was divided into four periods of two weeks. The first period is from the 10th to the 21st of July, the second from the 24th of July to the 4th of August, the third from the 7th to the 18th of August and the fourth from the 21st of August to the 1st of September.
Registration is free and takes place between 8:00 am on the 30th of March and 23:59 pm on the 2nd of April, here
Seats are allocated in order of registration.
At the time of registration, those responsible for the participants must also attach to the form a photocopy, front and back, of the Citizen Card, or other identification document of the child, proof of address or attendance at a school in the municipality, as well as a prescription clinic or a declaration of reasons of a religious nature, in case of existence of allergy or food intolerance.
José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira, reveals that this is "yet another action that reinforces the importance of the Executive's investment in education as a fundamental pillar for the development of children in Albufeira, as well as being a great opportunity to help parents who manage to take vacations during the summer period, guaranteeing a safe and responsible space with moments of leisure for their children».
