makro Portugal has appointed Filipe Pascoal as director of the makro Faro. With more than 10 years of experience in the retail sector, the person in charge assumes the direction of one of the two stores of the wholesale company in the Algarve.
Filipe Pascoal has a consolidated career in the area and, before joining makro, he held positions as market manager, deputy director and store director at the Auchan group. He has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Algarve.
“It is with great enthusiasm that I join makro. The wholesale sector is a very challenging, exciting sector with many opportunities. Therefore, I am ready, with the team, to achieve goals and victories every day”, emphasizes Filipe Pascoal.
Makro has been present in Portugal since 1989 and has a multichannel presence, namely 10 stores in the main economic and urban centers of the country and two logistics platforms, a set of digital services available to customers and a food service distribution operation. the store of Faro opened in 2001 and currently has more than 60 employees.
