Santos Populares will animate Serra do Caldeirão, this year, in three different locations.
On the 11th of June the party takes place in the square of the Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha, with the accordionist António Manuel, on the 18th of June it will be the turn of the Barranco do Velho Community Center to welcome Luis José and on the 25th, at Parque de Merendas do Vale da Rosa, accordionist Gonçalo Tardão will liven up the night.
The festivities will continue with grilled sardines and the presence of the Popular Marches of Peace at the São Brás de Alportel Museum.
«Joining forces and wills, the Social Solidarity Institution of Serra do Caldeirão, the Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha and a Group of Inhabitants of Vale da Rosa came together to provide a convivial environment in order to commemorate the Popular Saints and raise funds for the Barranco do Velho Community Center», says the Associação dos Amigos da Cortelha in a statement.
This initiative also has the support of the Loulé City Council and the Salir Parish Council.
