Miguel Pavão, President of the Order of Dentists, will visit this Thursday, October 13, from 16 pm, the health center of Faro.
This initiative is part of the script 'Dental Medicine in the SNS' which provides visits to various units of the five Regional Health Administrations in the country to see the working conditions of dentists in the SNS.
At the base of this roadmap is the project 'Oral Health for All', launched by the Government in 2018 and which provided for the inclusion of dental consultations in at least one health center in each ACE (grouping of health centers) by 2019 .
The president "wants to assess on the ground the progress made and gather information on what still needs to be done to guarantee oral health consultations in primary health care guaranteed to all Portuguese", says the Order.
The visit will be accompanied by Rogério Bacalhau, president of the Chamber of Faro.
