The traveling exhibition “Mediterranean Diet, a Thousand Year Cultural Heritage of Humanity” is on display until the 30th of September No. Ribeira Market, in Tavira, under the “Mediterranean Diet Days”.
This exhibition is intended "to promote and publicize the Mediterranean Diet, in its different aspects and is aimed at all age groups", says the Tavirense municipality.
The panels integrate a synthesis of the element inscribed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity: «its history, cultural landscapes, health, products, application/inscription, traditions, gastronomy, festivities, among others» , explains.
This exhibition was financed by the CRESC Algarve 2020 program.
