Tavira celebrates “Mediterranean Diet Days” with Amor Electro, Fábia Rebordão and Sara Correia

It is mandatory to purchase tickets in advance, including free shows

Tavira will celebrate the “Mediterranean Diet Days” from 2 to 5 September, with handicrafts, exhibitions and concerts by Amor Electro, Fábia Rebordão and Sara Correia. 

During these days, fado is highlighted with concerts by Fábia Rebordão, on the 2nd, the Fado Gala – Fado com História, on the 3rd, and Sara Correia, on the 4th, always at 22 pm, at Parque do Palácio da Gallery.

Amor Electro closes the program with a concert, on September 5th, at 22 pm, also in the Palácio da Galeria Park.

Also in this context, activities of the Educational Service of the Municipal Museum of Tavira were planned, with traditional arts workshops (taleigos, basketwork and empreita), to be broadcast online on the Municipality's Facebook, from September 3rd to 5th, at 10:30 am, as well as activities at the Municipal Market, where culinary demonstrations stand out, with the Head Abílio Guerreiro, on the 2nd and 3rd at 10:00 am.

It is also possible to visit the itinerant exhibition of the Mediterranean Diet, at Mercado da Ribeira, from the 2nd to the 30th of September, and the exhibition “The octopus orders” – photography and video by Pepe Brix, within the scope of the project “Fishing Routes of Santa Luzia- Rota do Octopus and Rota do Tuna-Barril”, Operational Program Mar 2020, Local Fishing Action Group of the Sotavento Algarvio, in the Hall of the Parish Council of Santa Luzia, from the 3rd, between 9:00 am and 17 pm 00:XNUMX pm

During this period, the usual craft fairs will also take place, in Jardim das Palmeiras, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 19 pm, in an organization of the associations ASTA, Almadrava and Albacora with the support of the Municipality.

Tickets for the shows can be picked up at Praça da República, daily, between 20:00 and 23:00, or at Largo in front of Palácio da Galeria, on the days of the shows, between 20:00 and 23:00.

For free shows, tickets will be available the day before the performance. A maximum of two tickets are available per person.

The maximum capacity of spaces was reduced in accordance with the DGS rules and the contingency plans created for this purpose. It is mandatory to purchase tickets in advance, including free shows.

You must also wear a mask and comply with the safety rules defined for the various shows.
