Gambelas Private Hospital already has more services on the renovated 2nd floor

These changes "will also have repercussions on the current floor of external consultations, by allowing the services that remain there to also improve in terms of space and functionality"

The expansion of the 2nd floor of the Hospital Particular do Algarve de Gambelas (Faro) went into operation this Wednesday, December 9th, marking the 11th anniversary of the unit.

According to the HPA Group, «there are 1.200 square meters of more quality and functionality, but above all, more satisfaction for our customers and our employees».

"Despite the difficulties we all felt in recent months, it was possible to complete a project that was already two years old and which we believe will enable us to offer services with better quality of care, which is our greatest aspiration", he adds.

In this new space there is now a small surgery room and an area for techniques and special endoscopic exams in Gastroenterology, Pneumology and Urology, and the Oncology Center and the Gynecology/Obstetrics service have tripled their reception and treatment capacity.

These changes allowed the creation of a new Gynecology/Obstetrics inpatient service, with Puerperium, Maternity, Childbirth and Recovery, in addition to a new wing of private rooms.

These changes “will also have repercussions on the current floor of external consultations, by allowing the services that remain there to also improve in terms of space and functionality”.
