Hiring migrant workers is the topic of a session in Tavira

Session is aimed at agricultural entrepreneurs and migrants

Tavira will host a session aimed at clarifying agricultural entrepreneurs and migrant workers on labor issues, as well as rights and duties, on Thursday, the 11th, at 09:30 am, in the hall of the Parish Council of Santo Estêvão.

Isabel Oneto, Assistant Secretary of State and Internal Administration, will chair this session, which aims to “present the Local Security Contract of Tavira and transmit various information on this topic, namely, clarifying and supporting companies that intend to hire migrants, thus how to elucidate these citizens for matters relating to their entry and permanence in national territory and access to public services such as health and education», according to the Chamber of Tavira.

The action will include the presence of the Tavira City Council, the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF), the National Republican Guard, the Sotavento Health Centers Group, the General Directorate of School Establishments and the High Commission for Migration .
