Silves Municipal Swimming Pools will host, from December 2nd to 4th, the Portuguese Absolute Short Swimming Pool Championships. The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Silves, together with the Portuguese Swimming Federation and the Algarve Swimming Association.
In these Championships, at the end of the season, will participate the athletes who throughout this year managed to reach the minimum levels in the various competitions in which they participated.
This test is part of the Pure Swimming, currently considered the most representative discipline of the Portuguese Swimming Federation, which uses the techniques of the back, breaststroke, moth and freestyle, officially regulated by the International Federation of Amateur Swimming (FINA).
