Festival F will feature DAMA, Mariza, Abrunhosa, Calema and Já Fumega

There are concerts for various tastes and appealing to all audiences.

DAMA, Mariza, Abrunhosa, Calema, Já Fumega, Bárbara Tinoco, Quinta do Bill, Maro and Mimicat are some of the names that make up the lineup for Festival F, set for the 7th, 8th and 9th of September in Vila-Adentro de Faro and at Largo de São Francisco, which was presented in Lisbon today, the 26th of July.

The poster also includes the José Pinhal concert, a tribute to the popular music singer who died in 1993, but who was recently rediscovered and became a phenomenon.

This Festival dedicated to music in Portuguese will also feature many other national bands of the most different styles, from commercial to alternative, and in very different stages of “maturity”.

Rogério Bacalhau, president of the Chamber of Faro, announced that, even before the start of the F itself, and since the 7th is the Municipal Holiday of Faro, there will be a free concert «extra festival, but in the same spirit», on the night of September 6th, which will bring together on stage Sé António Zambujo, Luís Trigacheiro and Buba Espinho.

According to Vasco Sacramento, from the production company Sons em Trânsito, Festival F continues, in this 8th edition, to focus on «the multiculturalism that is Portugal, but mixed with the musical reality of other Portuguese-speaking countries». The producer gave the examples of Eu.Clides, Silva or Soraia Tavares to illustrate this bet.

Henrique Gomes, president of the municipal company Ambifaro, revealed that the big news of the 2023 edition is the introduction of the cashless, where no money or passwords are used, payments are made electronically, using bracelets that can be recharged.

This is, according to the same official, «a very large investment, made in partnership with CTT».

Another novelty that will be introduced at Festival F 2023 is the Artists and Flee Market, dedicated to crafts and local products, he added.

Tickets for Festival F 2023 are now for sale online and cost 45 euros for the three days (7,8, 9 and 20 September) and XNUMX euros for just one day.
