The Alcoutim Council will allocate support of 65.480 euros to the Parish Centers of Martim Longo and Vaqueiros, with a view to acquiring electric vehicles, but also to support the community.
City council support, which was approved at the executive's last meeting on March 22, "is intended in part to finance the non-funded part of two applications submitted by the two institutions to the Green Social Mobility program of the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR ) for the acquisition of two electric vehicles», announced the Municipality of Alcoutenejo.
In question are «two electric goods vehicles undergoing transformation, which consists of adapting the cargo box lined with insulated partitions reserved for the transport of meals and also for the transport of other products simultaneously with foodstuffs, duly isolated from food and avoiding any kind of contamination”.
Part of the sum allocated to the Centro Paroquial de Vaqueiros is intended to meet the needs that the institution faces in terms of social support provided to the population of the parish, in particular in terms of day care and home care services.
