The Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) and the Algarve Intermunicipal Community (AMAL) will promote an international seminar on the 27th of October to present the ongoing actions in the areas of Mobility and Tourism, to be held at 10:00 am, in the auditorium from the Algarve School of Hospitality and Tourism, in Faro, to publicize and discuss solutions for the development of the Algarve as a Smart Mobility & Smart Destination.
The agenda will feature a presentation of the conclusions of the Smart Destination Algarve Project, which aims to transform the region into an increasingly sustainable, smart and connected tourist destination.
The project commissioned by RTA identifies “smart initiatives to be implemented at the destination to improve the visitor experience, such as computer features and applications, technological solutions and content digitization, among other innovations”, the note reads.
The seminar takes place within the scope of the Algarve Intelligent Region project, in which, in addition to RTA and AMAL, the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve Region and the University of Algarve (UAlg) are also partners.
