Ana Abrunhosa, Minister of Territorial Cohesion, and Teresa Coelho, Secretary of State for Fisheries, preside tomorrow, September 8, at 18:30 pm, at the inauguration of the VIII Mediterranean Diet Fair. in Tavira.
Guided tours, cooking demonstrations, physical activity, children's programming and music from different countries are part of the program of the event, which takes place between the 8th and 11th of September.
The opening of this edition of the Fair is preceded by the seminar “Health, Food and Mediterranean Diet”, promoted by the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, the Algarve Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Municipality of Tavira.
The initiative also includes the participation of the Minister of Territorial Cohesion and aims to take stock of the studies and projects developed in the context of the Plan to Safeguard the Mediterranean Diet 2018-2021, with the support of European Funds.
Every night, at 22:30 pm, at Praça da República, there will be the following concerts: Mariza (8th), Tomatito (9th), Jorge Palma invites Marisa Liz (10th) and Bárbara Tinoco (11th).
