The traveling exhibition #AÚltimaGota_Algarve, by Associação Almargem, is on view until the 6th of October at the Tavira Municipal Market, and can be visited from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 am and 13:00 pm.
The exhibition is the result of material produced within the scope of the application supported by the Environmental Fund that integrates the “ENEA 2022 – Sustainable Production and Consumption” program.
This exhibition aims to raise awareness of the use of water in different sectors, namely domestic, agricultural, tourist (including golf courses), as well as providing a unique, immersive and interactive experience with information on water consumption in the world, in Portugal and in the Algarve.
Focused on the urgency of adopting policies and measures at the local, regional and global scale, the motto “Overcoming Drought Together” was the theme chosen and announced by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
«Due to the relevance and relevance of the topic, the Municipality of Tavira invites the population to visit this exhibition and reflect on possible changes in behavior in the face of this increasingly scarce natural resource», stresses the Chamber, in a press release.
