The 18th Folklore Festival of Rancho Típico Sambrasense takes place this Saturday, June 25th, and has the special participation of a group that comes from Roche da Moliere, in France, within the scope of the twinning with the municipality of São Brás de Alportel .
The weekend's initiatives start this Friday, June 24th. At 19:00, the attention turns to the Museu do Traje, which promotes yet another Algarve Motown with live music. The popular festivities in honor of the Saints continue to animate São Brás de Alportel, this time in the Circular (new Bus Terminal) and in the Bairro Social João Rosa Beatriz, where this evening culminates in the best way the “A Festa sai à Rua” program.
On Saturday, June 25, the Municipal Swimming School Closing Festival animates the Municipal Covered Swimming Pools during the morning and the Municipal Market presents you with another gastronomic demonstration, presented by Chef Rui Correia, who was inspired by the sardines.
Also during the morning, the youngest are invited to participate in another online edition of the Creative Workshop “Growing and learning” that the Municipal Library promotes through its Facebook page, starting at 10:00 am.
On Saturday afternoon there are also art and painting classes that take place at the Arts and Crafts Center. And at the Complexo de Campos de Petanque, from 14:30 pm, there is a Petanque Tournament.
In the field of sport, there is also a visit to the Municipal Sports Center which, this weekend, hosts the Futsal Marathon of Casa do Benfica de São Brás de Alportel and in the Municipal Synthetic Field the last phase of the Mário Neves 2022 Tournament is played.
On Sunday, the 26th, there is another edition of the Nature Walks Cycle 2022 that starts at 9:30 am, next to the Escola de Corotelo.
The weekend events end at Museu do Traje with a Fado Night promoted by Grupo Amigos do Museu, starting at 21pm.
