Monologue “If I were Nina” takes the stage at Teatro Lethes

Text by Rita Calçada Bastos

The monologue “Se Eu Fosse Nina”, performed by Carla Maciel, with text by Rita Calçada Bastos, will take the stage at Teatro Lethes, in Faro, next Thursday, May 19, at 21 pm.

“What would have happened to Nina if she hadn't gone to live in Moscow, in a hotel room given over to the delirium of passion for Trigorin? How do our choices influence the place where we are?», this is one of the show's driving points, according to the creator's statements.

In this monologue, Rita Calçada Bastos «tests the limits that divide fiction and reality in an argument that brings back the central character of Anton Tchekov's The Seagull, and in the work Apontamentos de Trigorin, the dream of Tennessee Williams», explains ACTA/Teatro Lethes.

Tickets for the play can be purchased on the BOL platform. Reservations can be made by calling 289 878 908 or 919 172 008, from Tuesday to Friday, from 14 pm to 00 pm, or, on show days, also from 18 pm to 00 pm.
