PSD says that «Algarve cannot waste time» in the new legislature

In total, the Algarve Social Democrats have three deputies: Luís Gomes, Rui Cristina and Ofélia Ramos.

The PSD says that, in this new legislature that began this Tuesday, March 29, the Algarve «cannot waste time».

In a note sent to the press, the Social Democrats recall that the PS «promised the new Hospital Central do Algarve as a priority, as in 2015 and 2019».

The PSD/Algarve says that “it does not accept that the promise of a family doctor for all remains unfulfilled or that access to health is prohibited by waiting times for consultations or surgeries that offend this right”.

“The PS gave up on the 50% reduction in tolls that the PSD made a law that was not complied with by the Government, but the PSD will not give up”, he adds.

According to Cristóvão Norte, president of the PSD Algarve, who is no longer a deputy, «the PSD will not give up on the diversification of the economy, on a regional economic program that addresses major issues such as water, nor on the requalification of the 125 or the works in the Port of Portimão Cruises or the renovation of the railway, with a regional logic and framed with other modes of mobility, with connection to the airport of Faro and connections from windward to Lisbon'.

“The PSD wants a region that makes good use of the funds available and that the region opens up new horizons for development. We hope that there will be fundamental advances in these and other areas”, he adds.

In total, the Algarve Social Democrats have three deputies: Luís Gomes, Rui Cristina and Ofélia Ramos.
