The training “The Tourist Potential of Faro” began this Tuesday, February 22nd, and will continue through March.

The next sessions are scheduled for the 3rd, 8th and 14th.

Aimed at all professionals in the tourist industry who, directly or indirectly, receive and inform tourists who visit the municipality of Faro, this initiative has contributed significantly to the quantity and quality of information provided to those who visit us.

In this sense, this action is a winning bet that is intended to continue in an increasingly comprehensive way in order to promote the tourist value of the county.

The first day was dedicated to Historical/Natural Heritage (22 February).

The next session will be on Cultural Heritage (March 3rd) and, on the 8th, dedicated to Nautical Heritage, with emphasis on the Nautical Station of Faro and the offer of nautical activities that can be practiced in the territory.

Also noteworthy on this day is the visit to the interior of the county, namely the visit to the historic heritage of Estoi.

The initiative ends on the 14th of March with an approach to regional gastronomy at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve, followed by the delivery of certificates to the participants.

The training had the partnership of the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Algarve.
