The project “Sustainable Communities – Tourism Project Applied to Aldeias do Barrocal Algarvio”, promoted by Instituto Superior Manuel Teixeira Gomes (ISMAT), will be presented next Friday, March 4, at 15:00 pm, at Pavilhão Arena, in Portimão.
The initiative involves a large number of ISMAT students and faculty «in the creation of relevant development projects, linking communities, the economy and the environment».
«It is about establishing synergies between the various fields of knowledge, society and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030; operationalize and develop critical thinking, applying strategic solutions to achieve SDG 11 – Making communities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable; and to promote the attractiveness of Research & Development in an applied context as a factor of economic, social, cultural and environmental development», explains ISMAT.
