RIAS launches theoretical-practical course on "Necropsy in Wild Birds"

Training will take place on the 19th and 20th of February, at Quinta de Marim, in Olhão

On the 19th and 20th of February, the Wildlife Recovery and Research Center (RIAS) will hold a new theoretical-practical course on “Necropsy in Wild Birds”, at its premises at Quinta de Marim, in Olhão.

This course is aimed at students and professionals in the areas of Veterinary Medicine, Biology and other Environmental Sciences, with limited places.

The training aims to «provide information on the comparative anatomy of wild birds», with emphasis on «the most relevant aspects for the recovery clinic», also addressing «the techniques and the importance of the examination postmortem», highlights the RIAS.
