The Health in Dialogue Platform, promoter of the initiative “Health Space 360º Algarve”, was one of the three institutions recognized for its work, having received a donation from the plural+udifar company, in a ceremony that took place on the 16th of December.
The Bagos D'Ouro Association, the Saúde em Dialogue Platform and Quercus were the three institutions benefiting from this donation from the plural+udifar company which, within the scope of its social responsibility policy and similarly to what has happened in previous years, focused his usual Christmas support in these two IPSS and in an NGO from different regions of the country and with recognized work in favor of the community and the environment.
«More than distributing medicines, plural+udifar believes that it has an increased responsibility for social and environmental intervention, through working with institutions and resulting in direct action in the communities where it operates, to promote health and quality of life in the our community and in our specific market», explains Miguel Silvestre, president of plural+udifar.
"We have been trying to diversify the institutions and the geographic area where they are located, not least because the company already covers the national territory, and thus we will be able to contribute to the sustainability of the environment, through donations and environmental activities to minimize the environmental impacts resulting from our pharmaceutical distribution processes as a drug supplier and back-up service provider to pharmacies».
This initiative also serves "to give institutions the opportunity to make themselves known, and could be the awakening of society to some of the problems that exist", emphasizes the responsible for plural+udifar.
