CCDR do Algarve extends internal training actions to other Public Service workers

Next action is on Monday and Tuesday

Since the beginning of the year, the Algarve's Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR) has expanded the range of participants in the training actions it organizes, aimed at its employees, «to workers in public functions of other services and decentralized administration bodies direct and indirect from the region, the municipalities and, whenever possible, to the other CCDRs».

With this measure, the Algarve CCDR intends to foster “training and capacity building, as well as the sharing of knowledge and good practices that will enable it to face the complex challenges facing the Public Administration in a particularly demanding framework”.

On Monday and Tuesday, the 20th and 21st, the training action "Code of Administrative Procedure: the 2015 CPA and the 2020 review (for Non-Legal Experts)" will be promoted, tending to be in person, with the participation of 35 workers in public functions at CCDR Algarve and 10 from services and bodies of the direct and indirect Administration of the State of the Region, as well as from the security and civil protection forces, namely from the Algarve Services Department of the General Directorate of School Establishments ( DGEstE), of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority, Public Security Police and National Republican Guard.

Since the beginning of the year, this entity has promoted six training actions, under the themes "Principle and Guarantees of Impartiality", "Procedural Conferences", "Code of Administrative Procedure: the 2015 CPA and the 2020 review", "RGPD: 3 years of application – Balance Sheet, Future Perspectives and Good Practices in Public Administration”, “Webinar Trends for the success of Environmental Impact Assessment in the Algarve region – new challenges and dynamic perspectives for the future” and “Legal Regime of Territorial Management Instruments ”.

«Overall, these six actions corresponded to 40 hours of training/training, there were a total of 518 participations, 221 of which by workers in public functions of CCDR Algarve and 297 from the services and bodies of the direct and indirect deconcentrated administration of the State and the local authorities', according to the CCDR.

“In the first semester, 87% of workers in public functions at CCDR Algarve attended at least one training action within the scope of its Capacity Building and Training Plan, co-financed by the Algarve Operational Program – CRESC Algarve 2020”, he added.
