The 1st Session of Lagoa Wine Experiences 2021, which will make known the wines of this municipality, its producers and the heritage linked to this sector, will take place on Saturday, the 19th, between 10:30 and 18:00.
The visit begins at ÚNICA – Adega Cooperativa do Algarve, where “the unique heritage of the winery” will be made known, according to the Câmara de Lagoa. At the end of the visit, participants can try one of the cooperative's wines.
This is followed by a visit to Monte do Lobo, owned by Dona Niza Wines, where a welcome drink, whose Estrela will be Dona Niza Arinto 2019, winner of the Grand Gold Medal for Best Wine at the XIII 2021 Algarve Wine Contest, becoming the first white wine to win this award.
In the afternoon, and after lunch at Monte do Lobo, the wine tourism experience will be promoted at Quinta dos Santos, «a familiar and multifaceted project, where we will find contemporary facilities that are established in perfect harmony with their surrounding environment».

Interested parties can purchase the ticket online for the initiative, for 40 euros. This price includes lunch, tourist transport, wine tourism experiences and wine tasting.
In addition to the inaugural session this Saturday, sessions are scheduled for July 10th, August 21st, September 11th, October 23rd and November 13th.
