After online edition in 2020, “Menina estás à Janela” returns to face-to-face mode this year, on June 5th. From 10:00 am and throughout the day, 16 windows spread across the city of Faro they will be open to performances by various artists from various fields of arts and spectacle.

Organized by the Professional Course on Event Organization of the Pinheiro e Rosa Secondary School, in Faro, the initiative consists of a «pedestrian path, along which the windows and balconies of various buildings of recognized architectural and historical value serve as a stage for the shows», says this group of schools.

In addition to the window shows, there will be a dance performance by the group “Las Niñas” and a wine tasting from the region, initiatives “that promise to make the event even more dynamic and fun”.

Contrary to 2019 edition, this year the event will not have previous registrations and the itinerary will not be done in groups. Those interested in taking the route will be able to freely choose which windows they want to watch. They just have to go to the place, at the indicated time.

In addition to this script, the event features, as a novelty, an opening concert with the jazz quartet of the Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos (ARCM), accompanied by a concert by video mapping, taking place on the 4th of July, at 21 pm, at the association's headquarters.

Another novelty is a show entirely dedicated to children, on Saturday, June 5th, at the Centro Ciência Viva do Algarve. Places are limited and interested parties may apply via e-mail [email protected].
