Vice Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo is the new coordinator of the task force for the covid-19 vaccination plan, sreplacing Francisco Ramos, who presented his resignation from office, announced this Wednesday, February 3, the Government.
«The Government appointed Vice Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo as coordinator of the task force of the vaccination plan against covid-19 in Portugal», the Ministries of Health and National Defense said in a statement, adding that the military assumes these functions immediately.
