Francisco Ramos, coordinator of task force for the vaccination plan against Covid-19 in Portugal, he resigned from his post, the Ministry of Health has just announced.
In a statement, the Ministry clarified the resignation was delivered yesterday and is due to "irregularities detected" by Francisco Ramos "in the process of selection of health professionals at the Hospital da Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa, of which he is chairman of the Board of Directors" .
According to the Ministry, led by Marta Temido, «the functioning of task force it remains assured by the other members of the coordination nucleus”.
