"All negative" tests made last Friday to 173 users and employees of the old people's homes in Budens and Sagres, today revealed the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Vila do Bispo, which manages the two structures.
Like Sul Informação advanced, the team from the Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) was in these two Residential Structures for Elderly People on the 24th, in what was another action carried out under the Covid+70 screening project, than the ABC, in collaboration with the Instituto de Social Security, is promoting in all institutions for the elderly in the Algarve.
As Armindo Vicente, the Vila do Bispo SCM ombudsman, revealed at the time, in statements to our newspaper, the tests carried out were “routine, since there are no suspects” between residents or employees of the two homes.
The results, officially known today, confirmed that there is no case of Covid-19 among users and workers in these homes.
In a post on the Facebook page, the provider thanks to all the entities that collaborated in the tracking, but stresses: «our mission is not over yet. We will redouble our attention, reinforce the measures and work so that this result is confirmed in the future. Nothing is guaranteed yet».
