Two people were killed by a car this Thursday, on Estrada Nacional (EN) 125, in the village of Aldeia Nova, in Vila Real de Santo António. The driver was identified by the GNR.
The alert for being run over was registered at 20.32 hours. The victims, a man and a woman in their 70s, were picked up by a light passenger vehicle as they crossed the EN125. Due to the violence of the clash, the couple was thrown several meters and, despite the efforts of the rescue teams, did not resist multiple injuries.
