Portinado won Amadora by 7-6 in a water polo game counting for the 2nd Division of the Absolute National Championship. The Portimonense team thus remains in the lead in the South Zone of the competition.

The Algarve ended the first three periods at a disadvantage - the partials were 2-3, 2-2 and 0-0, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd periods, respectively -, but Portinado managed to turn around in the final stretch of the game, having scored three goals in the last period, against one of the opponents.

«In a difficult game, in which the Amadora players showed an excessively aggressive attitude, and not always adjusted to sporting values, Portinado could only turn the result around in the last seconds of the match», describes the club from Portimo.

Portinado repudiated not only the attitude of Amadora players "due to situations that jeopardized the physical integrity of our athletes", but also "the posture of some members of the public, who also do not portray the values of respect and fair play that our club seeks to instill in its athletes».

Portinado is in 1st place in the South Zone of the 2nd Division of the Absolute National Championship with 25 points in 9 games. The 2nd place is occupied by Algés B, with 18 points in 8 games, and the 3rd by CN Amadora, with 16 points in 8 games.
