Tour operators, travel agents and journalists from the Algarve will discover the secrets of Vila Real de Santo António, this Wednesday, June 6th, in yet another fam trip.
Does the county where the poet António Aleixo was born still have places to discover? The program «Rediscover the Secrets of the Algarve», designed for tour operators, travel agents and journalists in the region, will demonstrate to everyone that it is.
The initiative, promoted by the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA), has already passed through Alcoutim, São Brás de Alportel, Monchique, Lagos, Lagoa, Aljezur, Tavira, Silves, Faro, Albufeira, Vila do Bispo e Castro Marim , Loulé e Olhão, making now the invitation to visit another county with still much to explore in the areas of culture, traditions, gastronomy, sport, among many others.
The program of this fam trip in Vila Real de Santo António begins with a visit to the urban center of the village of Santa Rita and continues on to other points and activities of interest that, for now, are a surprise.
Desidério Silva, president of the Algarve Tourism Region, reinforces the importance of this initiative, for making the Algarve's territory truly known.
«It is this type of initiative that our Algarve needs. It is fam trip it gives strength to the culture, history and traditions of our land. Each council has its own voice and it is very good that we are able to show it through the programs that we have designed in partnership with the respective municipalities».
