The Algarve has 14 representatives among the nominees for the Publituris Trade Awards, which will be delivered, on February 28, at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange.
In the Best Congress Space category, Salgados Palace & Congress Center is the only Algarve representative. In the category of Best Park/Touristic Entertainment Company, Aquashow Park Hotel and Zoomarine are among the nominees.
In the category of Best Marina, the Algarve manages to have the highest number of nominees, with the marinas of Albufeira, Lagos, Portimão and Vilamoura competing for the award.
Vila Joya, in Albufeira, is nominated for Best Exclusive Hotel, while in the category of Best Luxury Hotel, the Algarve region is represented by Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort, Conrad Algarve and Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa.
Quinta da Cebola Vermelha, in Boliqueime, competes for the award for Best Accommodation in Rural Areas.
In the race for the Best Municipality, the Algarve also has two representatives: Albufeira and Loulé.
The nominees were chosen by the editorial staff of the Publituris newspaper, but the winners result from a weighted average between the votes of subscribers to the Publituris newsletter (40%) and the votes of the Jury (60%).
Voting will run until the 22nd of February in awards.publituris.pt.
