Portimonense prolongs crisis with defeat against FC Porto

With this defeat, Portimonense has gone six games without winning and could fall to the relegation play-off zone.

Portimonense lost 0-3 against FC Porto, in a game from the 25th round of the I Football League, played this Friday, March 8, in Portimão.

The Algarve team didn't play a good game and lost fairly.

In a match in which rain was almost constant, FC Porto took the lead in the 7th minute, in a childish move by the Portimonense defense that lost the ball in a prohibited zone. The Porto players took advantage and Nico González, already inside the area, shot to count.

Seconds before, the Algarve team had a good chance to score, but Hélio Varela was unable to beat Diogo Costa, deflecting the ball with his support foot, before shooting.

The Porto fans' second goal arrived in the second half, through Galeno. The winger scored a great goal, with an arcing shot, which was undefendable for Nakamura.

The score was closed in the 79th minute, with a goal from Pepê, after a good understanding with Jorgie.

With this defeat, Portimonense has gone six games without winning and could fall to the relegation play-off zone.
