Online proposals for the OP of Faro can be delivered until December 26th

Voting will take place between the 1st and 31st of March and the results will be known in April

Online proposals for the Participatory Budget of Faro They can be delivered until December 26th, the Farense municipality announced this Thursday, December 21st. 

The delivery of these proposals begins after the 11 participatory meetings of the 4th edition of the Participatory Budget (OP) have been completed. Faro, which took place in different locations in the municipality and in which residents had the opportunity to present proposals in person.

Proposals can be submitted at OP portal Faro, and residents, workers or students in Faro, present your improvement proposals for the municipality.

After the period of proposal presentation and analysis by the technical committee, voting will take place between the 1st and 31st of March, in which each participant will be able to vote for two different projects.

The projects most voted by citizens will be the winners until the sum of 240 thousand euros is exhausted, the amount allocated to this edition, and each parish/union of parishes will always have at least one winning project.

In April, the winning projects will be announced, which will be implemented for a maximum period of two years.

Through this project, the Municipality of Faro aims to “promote a lively and participatory process, in which the municipality is discussed and the best way to contribute to its development and improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants.
