Entrepreneurs from Startup Portimão went to the Web Summit on a ride from the municipality

The summit, which takes place in Lisbon, ends today

Entrepreneurs who are being incubated by StartUp Portimão traveled to the Web Summit, which ends today, in Lisbon, to make themselves and their products known, with the support of Portimão City Council.

One of these companies, Dynamic Parking, owned by entrepreneur Fábio Neves, had a much greater exposure than the others, as it was able to set up its own stand yesterday, after being invited by the organization to take part in this year's Alpha Program.

Other entrepreneurs who were at the technological summit include Pedro Esteves and Gonçalo Coelho, founders of Paddle Rental Algarve, a water sports equipment rental company, «with the main focus on preserving our waters and maritime ecosystems, encouraging the discovery of the coast without pollution », and Tiago Santos, responsible for the food company Panorama Hábil, «who intends to diversify the offer and implement a rural and sustainable tourism unit in Monchique».

Also part of this delegation is the entrepreneur Felipe Augusto, founder of the immigration startup Welvind, focused on preparing future expatriates and the success of the migratory journey, as well as Rui Rosa, coordinator of the municipal incubator.

Regarding Dynamic Parking, which had a special participation, this was «a unique opportunity for Fábio Neves to promote his mobile application for parking solutions in busy areas of cities, where parking is a major challenge», he adds the municipality.

«The Alpha Program aims to support selected startups and includes a series of services, such as mentoring, pitching and consultancy sessions with business leaders, in addition to exhibition at a stand, as is the case today with Dynamic Parking», adds the Chamber of Portimão.
