Explore+ project takes Pinheiro e Rosa and Zer0 Museum to Romania

Activities were funded by the Erasmus+ program

Members of the Pinheiro e Rosa School Group and the Zer0 Museum visited, on the 19th and 20th of May, Timisoara, in Romania (European Capital of Culture 2023), within the scope of the Explore+ project. 

On the 19th, a conference was held to present the results of the Explore+ project (creative explorations of curiosity for innovative transdisciplinarity, CTEAM and social learning), at the Casa de Juventude of Timisoara.

At this international conference, in addition to presenting the project's results (a CTEAM Activities Manual – an integrated methodology based on projects that, through science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, aims to train students with diverse knowledge, develop values ​​with the contents addressed and preparing students and citizens for the challenges of the future – and an online course to present the activities in the manual), Timisoara was also presented as the European Capital of Culture 2023.

On the 20th, the final project coordination meeting was held, attended by the Portuguese project coordinators, André Lara, from AEPROSA, and João Vargues and Joana Carmo, from Museu Zero.

 

 

These activities were funded by the Erasmus+ program (partnerships for creativity).

In a note, the Pinheiro e Rosa School explains that, based on the curriculum of the different disciplines of the Scientific-Humanistic Courses, over two academic years, activities were being developed, tested and systematized in the secondary education classes of the AE Pinheiro e Rosa , using the STEAM methodology, with the support of the Zer0 Museum, as part of its cultural mediation work for Digital Art.

Em Faro, the partnership includes Escola Pinheiro e Rosa and Museu Zero, at the invitation of the structure dedicated to preparing the proposal for Faro the European Capital of Culture 2027.
