The Save as Alagoas Brancas movement will demonstrate on the 22nd of May, starting at 16 pm, in front of the Coordination and Regional Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve, in Faro.
The protest will take place on World Biodiversity Day.
According to the organization, the objective is to "put pressure" on CCDR "to take measures to safeguard this aquifer and this wetland full of biodiversity that contains more than 300 species of fauna and flora".
