Rui Carvalho, artistically known as “Filho da Mãe”, will give a concert at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão, from 21:00 on the 11th of March.
Rui Carvalho is the author of a very unique path in Portuguese music. The first incursions with more visibility on the stage happened with the band “If Lucy Fell”, and more recently he presented himself as guitarist of “Linda Martini”.
However, it was on his solo journey, and from an accomplice relationship with the guitar, that he built an intimate sound identity based on a wide and inventive discography.
The project already has more than a decade of existence and a handful of records, having debuted in 2011 with “Palácio”, from which its sound and identity matured, with a plucked guitar.
Recorded over two years between Lisbon and Ílhavo, the long-play “Terra Dormente” arrived in the spring of 2022 and marked the return to the originals.
Tickets for the performance cost 8 euros and can be purchased online or at the TEMPO ticket office, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 13 pm and 00 pm, and on show nights until 18 pm.
