The “Orange Conference XXI” will take place again at the FISSUL Auditorium, on the 10th of February, at 14 pm. As part of the 30th Mostra Silves Capital da Laranja, it will bring together specialists to reflect on topics related to citrus growing.
Present at the opening session will be Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves, Paulo Águas, rector of the University of the Algarve, José Apolinário, president of CCDR Algarve, Pedro Valadas Monteiro, regional director of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Algarve, João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Region and Pedro Coelho, director of ARH Algarve.
The main objective of the “Silves Capital da Laranja” exhibition is to highlight the citriculture that is carried out in the municipality, its producers and the subjects that are of interest for the improvement of this sector today.
