Team chaired by Rúben Santos reactivates JSD/Loulé

New bodies take office on March 4

Rúben Santos was elected last Saturday, February 18, as president of the Social Democratic Youth of Loulé, reactivating it after a year and a half, in elections in which only one list was put forward for suffrage.

Aged 20, born in Tôr and a medical student, the young man assumes the leadership of the Political Commission of JSD/Loulé under the motto “Win ​​the Future”.

«It is time for young people to feel that they have a voice that represents them», he says, adding that «in the current political landscape, the JSD is the only structure that is in a position to be the alternative that young people are looking for to respond to their needs ».

Surrounded by a young team, the new president of JSD/Loulé promises not to lower his arms «in defense of the rights of the new generations».

The new team has Pedro Sá as general secretary, João Ricardo and Paloma Calado as vice-presidents and the members Maria Martins, Tomás Martins, Carolina Gomes, Tomás Cavaleiro, Carolina Borges, Rodrigo Germano, Vicente Guerreiro, Beatriz Francisco and João Guerreiro.

For the Board of the Plenary, André Ribeiro was elected president, Gil Matias vice-president and secretary Vânia Alegre.

The new bodies take office on the 4th of March.
