Vicentina presents a proposal for a 2030 subregional strategy

In a seminar that took place this Friday, September 30th

The proposal for a sub-regional strategy 2030 was presented last Friday, September 30, in Vila Termal de Monchique, at a seminar organized by Associação Vicentina.

The presentation took place within the scope of the Articular para Intervir project, led by CCDR Algarve in partnership with the Local Development Associations of the Algarve, financed by CRESC Algarve 2020 and was in charge of Tiago Ferreira, Executive Director of Aliados Consulting, under the motto “Will of Doing Good”.

«All this resulted in a vision of the future, strategic objectives, lines of action and intervention projects», says Associação Vicentina in a note.

The afternoon panels were attended by partners who presented the activity of the organizations they represent and took a position on the next step – Tempo de Intervir: as is the case of Sara Silva, president of the Algarve Wine Commission, Rita Guerreiro, president of Algarchurra, Nuno Fidalgo, president of Aspaflobal, António Marreiros, president of the Association of Irrigators and Beneficiaries of Alvor, Miguel Portugal, representing ISMAT and moderators Brandão Pires, first Secretary of AMAL and Ezequiel Pinho, director of Investment Services at DRAP Algarve.

 

 

The opening of the event was attended by Paulo Alves, president of the Chamber of Monchique and Aura Fraga, president of the Associação Vicentina.

Finally, the closing was Maria de Lurdes Carvalho, director of Regional Development Services at CCDR Alg; Pedro valadas Monteiro, Regional Director of DRAP Alg and Humberto Sério, Vice-President of the Municipality of Monchique.

Other Municipalities were also present at the event, such as Rute Silva, President of the Municipality of Vila do Bispo, José Gonçalves, President of the Municipality of Aljezur, Anabela Simão, Vice-President of the Municipality of Lagoa, Sandra Oliveira, Councilor of the Municipality of Lagos and Francisco Martins and Sara Esperidião representing the Municipalities of Silves and Portimão.

In addition to the public partners, many private partners, people and entities interested in joining the partnership for 2030 attended.
