The Covered Municipal Swimming Pools of São Brás de Alportel will reopen on the 3rd of October, with «measures for the efficient use of water».
The municipality says it is “implementing a set of measures”, within the scope of the Municipal Plan for Mitigating Measures for Water Consumption.
«An example of this is the implementation of a water reuse system from backwash das Piscinas, for watering green spaces and gardens and washing existing equipment in the vicinity of the facilities», says the São Brás de Alportel City Council.
Added to this is a «pair of a set of actions to raise awareness and inform users of this equipment for a responsible use of water».
Otherwise, the hot tub and Turkish bath will remain closed.
Classes for babies, adaptation to the aquatic environment, learning, improvement, pre-competition, water aerobics, Aqua-fitness, water aerobics, swimming for adults, activities for citizens with disabilities and free regime will work normally.
