Covid-19: active cases dropped in the last week

There are two deaths to record

The data released this Friday, September 16, by the Civil Protection Commission of the Algarve Region, account for 1330 active cases of Covid-19 in the Algarve, 509 fewer cases than last week. 

The weekly report assessing the epidemiological situation in the region, referring to the period between 00:00 on the 8th and 24:00 on the 15th of September, however, reveals that, in one week, there were 624 more new ones - a higher value compared to last week (594 ).

The data makes the accumulated number since the beginning of the pandemic in the Algarve to be 229.166 cases.

As for the deaths caused by Covid-19, there were two deaths in the last week, with 916 people having died in the Algarve since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 2 hospitalized due to SARS-Cov-31 infection, four less than the previous week, and there was no record of any patient in Intensive Care (last week there was one person in this unit).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there are still 226.920 recovered in the Algarve, 1131 of which in the last week.
