The Union of Parishes of Lagoa and Carvoeiro reinforced its support to collectivities, IPSS and local entities with more than 57 thousand euros.
Protocols with local associations and institutions covered by that Parish Union, in the educational, cultural, sports, social and recreational scope, were signed on the 29th of July, stipulating an amount of 57 euros.
According to the municipal executive, «this reinforcement is important and aims to help the entities in their activities, as well as in the promotion of the social work developed by each of them and to overcome the financial commitments that continue to be assumed».
«The collectivities, IPSS and entities carry out an extraordinary social work in the community and are the determining elements in the post-pandemic period», adds Joaquim João, president of the Union of Parishes of Lagoa e Carvoeiro.
