the PS Faro organized a walking tour of the city on the 6th of August with the aim of «doing a survey on issues of cleanliness, mobility and healthiness».

«What we found was a dirty city, which does not take care of its heritage or mobility, especially for those with reduced and visually impaired mobility», says the party in a note sent to the newsrooms.

According to the PS, during the visit, several situations were detected “that have been dragging on for a few years”. The party uses as an example the case of the Bandstand, walls of Vila Adentro, holes in the sidewalks and irregular sidewalks, difficult access for those with reduced mobility and lack of maintenance on the sidewalks.

Contacted by Sul Informação, the Chamber of Faro declined to comment on the note sent by PS.
