Campaign wants to show that Lagoa is an attractive destination all year round

“Welcome to Lagoa” is the name of the «new and ambitious» promotional campaign launched by the Municipality of Lagoa, this Saturday, August 20, at FATACIL.

This campaign, explains the municipality of Lagos, comes “at a time when tourism is in full recovery, with levels of occupancy in the summer months, which already exceed those recorded in the period before the pandemic”.

According to the City Council, «the primary objective of this campaign, which will be present in the press and in various digital formats and social networks, until the end of October, is to reinforce the image of Lagoa as an attractive destination all year round».

In this initiative, emphasizes the municipality, it is also intended "to make known a tourist offer that has been notably specialized, with increasingly diversified and segmented products, and that respond to the new demands and trends of the market after the years of the pandemic".

«Lagoa, named in 2021 as one of the safest destinations in Europe, has unique conditions of tourist offer throughout the year, and not just in the traditional high season, as some of the best golf courses in the country, a tourist offer of quality in the area of ​​gastronomy, with emphasis on wine tourism, and endless kilometers of walking trails», he adds.

The presentation of this campaign, focused on the domestic market but with actions in the main issuing markets (Spain, France, Germany and the United Kingdom), was made by Luís Encarnação, mayor of Lagoa, this Saturday, at FATACIL, «the stage par excellence for the dissemination of the best that is made and produced in Lagoa and the Algarve».

The Welcome to Lagoa campaign will be publicized in various communication channels, in particular digital ones.

In addition to a video, which can be seen below, in this context, was launched a new tourism promotion website, digital billboards will be placed in Porto and Lisbon and there will be ads and publications on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
